My mother-in-law has always called the kids Tumbleweeds. I never asked her why, but after looking up the definition, I understood.
tum·ble·weed
[tuhm-buhl-weed] noun
any of various plants whose branching upper parts become detached from the roots and are driven about by the wind.
We love our military lifestyle and take advantage of the traveling opportunities. Settling down, or planting our roots, is not an option for us right now. And even though we're being "driven about" by the Navy, and not the wind, calling my kids Tumbleweeds...just fits.
So Tumbleweeds and Tantrums seems to describe a big part of my life.
The rest of my life is me trying to manage having my hands in a thousand different pots at once without going insane. I'm hoping this blog will be a great tool to keep all of my pots organized.
I am by no means a professional. Writer, blogger, artist, DIY-er, parent, photographer, or anything else really. I just really like enjoying my life and taking advantage of learning new things and find it EXTREMELY important to be creative.
