Tenley

The last baby of the family. She's only 5 months old and truly, has so much personality. Not only am I waiting for her to be out of the non-mobile baby stage, but I think she's itching to be out of it too.

She is definitely a Mama's girl and me quitting my job only sealed the deal on that one.

She hates everything babies usually love. She screams during car rides, walks in her stroller, and never liked her swing. She's usually attached to my hip, or rolling around on the floor. She hardly napped her first 4 months because she R.E.F.U.S.E.D to sleep on her back or side.

It's very rare to find a toy that amuses her. But mirrors and fabric are her weaknesses. I actually hung strips of fabric on her car seat and her grabbing at those worked better than any flickering, musical noise maker we've bought.

She has never flinched while getting her shots. (This scares me a bit. I see a few broken bones in her future.)

She's never really made cute little baby noises. She growls instead.

And the one thing that settles her down at any given moment, is singing "Soft Kitty" to her.

I'm already exhausted at the thought of her toddler years.
